After a long time of not posting anything, I break the silence with an illustration based on a quote shared with me today by a fellow daydreamer.
"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible." – T.E. Lawrence

So, I painted tonight. A tiny thing. Nothing big. I have been stuck on Frank Ocean’s album “Channel Orange” and this song in particular sticks out. I suppose it is the way he felt—feels?—about dealing with his sexuality. The piece is a bit different than what I’d typically do, but the song is just really good and has been stuck in my head. You know, you listen to a song sometimes, and then pictures start forming in your brain of what that song would look like on paper. I guess this is a quick painting/sketch of what I think this song might be like; in my brain, at least.
